Arsenal are one of English football's most historic clubs and, under Mikel Arteta, one of its most tactically distinctive. A founder member of the Premier League, Arsenal have won 13 top-flight titles and remain the only side to complete an unbeaten Premier League season — the 2003-04 'Invincibles' under Arsène Wenger.

Founded in Woolwich in 1886, Arsenal moved to north London in 1913 and became the dominant English club of the 1930s under Herbert Chapman. Success returned with George Graham's 1989 title-winning side and reached its modern peak under Arsène Wenger (1996-2018), whose sides won three Premier League titles, seven FA Cups and became the country's most technically influential team.

Mikel Arteta's Arsenal continue to press for a first league title since 2004 after back-to-back second-place finishes in 2022-23 and 2023-24. The squad is one of the youngest in the Premier League and combines aggressive high-press football with the tactical discipline that Arteta absorbed as Guardiola's assistant.
